About Theodora Voutsa

Founder & Creative Director

Theodora Voutsa is an award-winning director, producer, and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in the entertainment and production industries. Known for her mastery of impactful storytelling, Theodora blends her artistic expertise with strategic insight to create compelling visual narratives. Raised in the entertainment world by her father, Kostas Voutsas—a legendary Greek actor and producer—she developed an innate passion for creativity and an early understanding of the industry’s intricacies.

A Career Rooted in Creativity, Leadership, and Empowerment

Before moving to Singapore and establishing 88 Productions Pte Ltd in 2022, Theodora led Theodora Voutsa Productions, her own production company in Europe. This company oversaw two innovative subcompanies:

  • The International Theatre in English, which produced exceptional theatrical works for global audiences.

  • The Los Angeles Method, an educational platform merging acting techniques with personal development to enhance confidence, communication, and leadership skills.

Theodora Voutsa Productions collaborated with prestigious companies such as Unilever, Nike, Heineken, Happn Dating App, and others, providing high-quality productions tailored to their brand identities. Her leadership and ability to manage large-scale creative endeavors allowed her to bridge the worlds of art and business seamlessly.

Theodora’s career also includes working in the production team for AOB, the broadcasting company responsible for the 2004 Olympic Games. This experience equipped her with invaluable skills in managing high-stakes, globally impactful productions. Additionally, she spent four years immersed in the vibrant New York theatre scene, working with Off-Broadway productions. This period further sharpened her expertise in performance management, creative collaboration, and production logistics.

A Foundation in Performance and Storytelling

Theodora’s professional journey began as an actress, performing in acclaimed sitcoms on national Greek television and starring in theatrical productions across Europe. Her repertoire includes iconic works by Molière, Shakespeare, Tennessee Williams, Eugene O’Neill, and Greek classics, reflecting her depth of talent and commitment to her craft. These experiences have profoundly influenced her ability to create authentic and emotionally resonant stories, whether on stage or behind the camera.

Founder of 88 Productions

After relocating to Singapore, Theodora founded 88 Productions, a full-service creative agency specializing in video and photography production. Within its first year, the company’s exceptional quality and innovative approach earned the trust of prominent Singaporean organizations and businesses, including Singapore Business Federation, Enterprise Singapore, SGWEN, Castlery, SingFuels, NTU, and more.

88 Productions stands out by combining artistic creativity with business acumen, offering services that include corporate videos, social media content, documentaries, and photography. Notable offerings include:

  • Family Chronicles: Heartfelt video documentaries capturing family stories.

  • Corporate Documentary-Style Photography: Candid, behind-the-scenes visuals showcasing businesses in their real environments.

  • Solutions for SMEs and Women Entrepreneurs: Tailored packages designed to help small businesses and women-led ventures grow their visibility through high-quality visual storytelling.

A Mission of Empowerment

At the heart of 88 Productions lies a mission to amplify voices and foster inclusion, with a strong emphasis on women’s empowerment and visibility. Theodora’s work consistently champions gender equality, advocating for women to take up leadership roles and have their voices heard. This ethos is not just reflected in her productions but also in her initiatives aimed at inspiring change.

In collaboration with the Professional Women’s Network of Amsterdam, Theodora launched the “Daring to Be a Girl Symposium,” a platform designed to empower women and foster leadership. Integrating theatrical performances like Sophocles’ “Antigone,” the symposium emphasized resilience, courage, and the importance of impactful storytelling in creating social change.

Empowering Through Storytelling

Beyond production, Theodora is the creator of Stichting Theodora Voutsa Productions (TVP), an international professional and educational center based in Amsterdam. Through TVP, she has conducted workshops worldwide, combining acting techniques with personal development to help individuals command attention, connect authentically, and build confidence. Her programs have left a lasting impact on participants from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds, underscoring her belief in community building and personal growth.

Having lived and worked in major cultural hubs like New York, Athens, Rome, and Amsterdam, Theodora brings a unique global perspective to her projects.
